    RISP (Risperidone) Tablet is used in the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental disorder that can result in hallucinations or delusions and also adversely affects a person’s ability to think and behave) and mania.

    RISP PLUS tablet is used for sudden relief of schizophrenia (Mental illness in which a person confuses), acute manic episodes (irritable mood, having suicidal thoughts).

    RISP PLUS tablet is a fixed-dose combination composed of two different medicines, namely, Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. This works in the brain to treat schizophrenia.

    It is also known as a second-generation antipsychotic (SGA) or atypical antipsychotic. Risperidone rebalances dopamine and serotonin to improve thinking, mood, and behavior.

    Package contains

    A broad Risp one packet having 12 tablets coated with protective film and leaflets (instructions).

    Each enteric-coated tablet contains:

    Risperidone 2 mg

    As per the directions of the physician

    Caution

    RISP 2

    This may cause some side effects

    • Difficulty Swallowing,
    • Muscle spasms,
    • Shaking (tremor),
    • Mental/mood changes (such as anxiety)
    • Interrupted breathing during sleep.

    If any of these side effects persist, immediately consult the physician.

    • Avoid taking medicine without the direction of the physician.
    • Must see the expiry date before using.
    • Limited use during breastfeeding.
