ScabFREE (Permethrin BP) 5% is a lotion form of medicine used in the treatment of scabies.
Pack contains:
The pack has a 60ml lotion bottle along with an enclosed indication leaflet.
Composition:
60ml lotion bottle contains 5% w/v Permethrin BP (ATCO SPECIFICATIONS).
This formula is also available in form of 30 mg cream.
Dosage and administration:
Adults and Children over 12 years:
Half of the bottle (30ml).
Children aged 5 to 12 years:
One-fourth of the bottle (15ml).
Children 1 to 5 years:
One-eighth of the bottle (8ml).
Infants 2 months to 1 year:
One-sixteenth of the bottle (4ml) or as directed by the doctor or physician.
After a warm bath applies a thin layer on the entire surface, leave it on for 8 to 12 hours, and then remove by thorough washing the surface.

Uses:
ScabFREE is mainly used in relieving scabies, itching, and inflammation of the skin due to insects. It is suitable for both adult and pediatric use.
Side effects:
It can cause temporary redness, itching, stinging, and in some cases, it may cause hypersensitivity. If the patient indicates any other serious side effects, contact the doctor immediately.
