Each package contains 100mcg tablets in a glass bottle & enclosed leaf. It is also available in 25mcg, 50mcg, 75mcg & 125mcg tablets.

Levothyroxine Sodium Ph. Eur.
Equivalent to anhydrous levothyroxine Sodium 100 mg
INDICATIONS:
Thyroid hormone replacement or supplement therapy (according to leaflet information). It is used for the following indications:
Hypothyroidism: As replacement or supplemental therapy in congenital or acquired Hypothyroidism of any etiology, except transient hypothyroidism during the recovery phase of subacute thyroiditis.
Specific indications include primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) hypothyroidism, and subclinical hypothyroidism.
Pituitary TSH suppression: In the treatment or prevention of various types of euthyroid, including thyroid nodules, subacute or chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis (Hashimoto’s thyroiditis), multinodular goiter.
As an adjunct to surgery and radioiodine therapy in the management of thyrotropin dependent well-differentiated thyroid cancer.
Dosage & Administration:
As directed by a physician. It is administered as a single daily dose. Preferably one-half hour before breakfast. Thyronorm dosage depends on body weight, age, and medical conditions.
It should be taken at least 4 hours apart from drugs that are known to interference with its absorption (e.g. synthesis, protein binding, and secretion).
Instructions:
Store below 25°C in a dry place.
Protect from light.
Do not use if the seal is broken.
Replace cap firmly after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
