Johnny Depp and Amber Heard
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard started their relationship as husband-wife in February 2015. In May 2016, Heard filed for divorce.
And a temporary restraining order against Depp, accusing him of assaulting her after a quarrel in their Los Angeles residence.
After taking the testimony in court, Depp claimed that never did he reach the point of hitting Ms. Heard in any manner, nor had he ever struck any woman in his life.
He discusses his early romance with Heard in great detail. He agreed that they had disagreements, but he regarded their relationship as “wonderful.”
On the other hand, Depp said that within a year or year and a half, Heard had nearly transformed into another person.
Depp also addressed claims that he suffers from deep-seated drug and alcohol problems or at least did during his relationship with Heard.
After suffering a back injury during the making of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Depp acknowledged that he became hooked on a prescription opiate.
He didn’t try to quit the opiate until he was roughly four to five years into his relationship with Heard.
DEPP AND CHILD ABUSEMENT
Johnny Depp also detailed allegations of child abuse perpetrated by his mother against him, his brother.
Depp described his father as a peaceful man who patiently complied with his mother’s aggressive tendencies.
The case in Virginia revolves around heard 2018 article on child abuse.
In December 2018, Heard wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post expressing her support for the Violence Against Women Act.
She drew on her own personal observation as a domestic violence survivor to write it. “by the time she was in college, she has been harassed and sexually abused like many other women.”
Depp denied he abused her, and police said they found no evidence of a crime. Therefore, the case is pending.
