The Opinionated World We Live In
The Opinionated World We Live In.
It is quite confusing, the current situation of the world we live in today. We are facing challenging and dynamic changes which are causing unstable circumstances.
As we take one step forward towards progression, we fall two steps back into regression. In this digital world, we all have a platform to offer our opinions and share our voices for the good and the bad.
Yes, there are moral and social responsibilities that fall upon us, we have to stand up for the things we believe in, but then again, blurting out opinions is not the way to do it.
We live in a world where we are too aware of what is going on but too naive to understand it. What people don’t recognize and respect is ‘the difference of opinion’.
Yes, we should debate on subjects and share our perspectives, but not with the prospect that the other person thinks according to the same perception as ours.
Most people are just impulsively opinionated and have no rationalized thought process behind their opinions. Just because something is trending we feel compelled to be a part of it.
Without thinking that opinions should have a basis, knowledge, and value, they should have an impact. It is important to be conscious while delivering opinions and it is vital to ground them with solid facts.
Opinions should be firm, in which words are heard and respected, not just to be a part of loud noise. The fact is, nobody knows the absolute truth, so your opinions should be influential and persuasive.
Share your opinions for awareness, not just for mere argument sake or to prove someone wrong.
In order to make an impact for betterment, we all need to be more accountable for what we say. We can give our opinions without being opinionated.
