The fact that American actor Jussie Smollett is guilty and sentenced to 150 days in prison. He was exposed; red-handed lying to the police about an incident that went awry.
The plot centers around an attack in which the actor reported a racial or homosexual assault to the police.

Moreover, The police condemned the actor to 150 days of imprisonment; which is almost three months, and a $25,000 fine and $120,000 in compensation to the city of Chicago in the verdict.
After Jussie Smollett was jailed for lying; the actor claimed that he was blameless and that the incident did not occur.
Still, the judge stated that after reviewing the evidence presented to the court. The actor Jussie Smollett had a selfish and narcissistic nature.

According to the star, two individuals stopped him and accosted him. He says that the two individuals were rather aggressive and grabbed him before applying an unknown substance to him.
He further stated that the two men struck him with their hands and wrapped a rope around his neck.

Furthermore, Eddie Johnson, the superintendent in charge of the Chicago police department, told the media that the actor Jussie Smollett paid roughly $3500 to plan and plot the incident. He wanted to use discrimination to advance his profession and get fame through pity.
